Paul Spriggs: Rock Gardens of the Czech Republic

The whole world is currently looking towards the Czech Republic as leaders and innovators of modern-day rock gardening. In May of 2017, Paul Spriggs travelled here for the 3rd International Czech Rock gardening conference held in the historic village of Průhonice, on the outskirts of Prague. Part of the conference was a tour of a number of gardens in and around the capital. However, after the conference Paul was treated to another private tour, which took him to all corners of the country to view the crème –de -la-crème of modern Czech rock gardens. This presentation will offer a sneak peek into some less accessible and rarely seen gardens of some of the world’s most accomplished rock gardeners.
