We are amateur gardeners who have been gardening together in Toronto for more than 20 years. From our broad interest in gardening, we have developed a particular interest in seeing plants in their natural habitat.

Turkey is a country straddling Europe and Asia of rich physical and ancient cultural diversity. Our trip there in 2019 was an adventure with many surprises and much beauty. As we travelled parts of the ancient Silk Road we saw mountains, volcanoes, steppe, beautiful rich valleys, rivers and lakes. Each of these areas is home to incredible flora, much of it endemic. Our presentation will offer some of the highlights of this trip
