| The Spring Show at the Floral Hall, VanDusen Botanical Garden, 37th & Oak Street, Vancouver, B.C., presents competitive exhibits illustrating all the classes of plants our members grow: alpine and woodland plants from four continents, bog plants, dwarf shrubs and conifers, bonsai, primulas in variety, and miniature trough gardens suited to the smallest patio. Some plants are easy to grow, others represent years of skilled cultivation and include a few that even the experts may have not seen before. The Spring Show is open to the public. Seeds, but not plants, will be available for sale. |

| Our Spring Sale at St. David's United Church, Taylor Way and Upper Levels Highway, W. Vancouver and Fall Sale at the Floral Hall, VanDusen Botanical Garden, 37th & Oak Street, Vancouver, B.C., offer the opportunity to buy many plants not available in regular trade. We invite growers from all over B.C. specializing in alpines, woodland and native plants, rare shrubs, trees and other plants of interest to our members. In addition, many of our members sell plants they have grown from exchange seed or have propagated themselves. These sales present the finest opportunities in Vancouver to acquire plants that are not in commercial production. The purpose of these sales is to bring these uncommon plants to our members and the public. The proceeds of these sales are the source of our annual donations to UBC Botanical Garden, VanDusen Botanical Garden, and the BC Council of Garden Clubs' Scholarship Fund which amounts to $3,500 per year. | |
