Prometheus Unchained: Exorcising Pontius Pilate So That Mountains Can Be Savoured-

The True Fathers of Alpine Botany & Gardening in the Westfragaria_vesca.jpg

A cultural and historical look at the real pioneers of alpine gardening principally Conrad Gessner, as well as Von Jacquin, Hacquet, Wulfen and Kerner. Their influence in alpinism and mountaineering. How we have arrived at where we are today bears little resemblance to the cultural reality of the 16th & 17th Centuries.
