Justin Dunning - Container Bog Gardening

The mention of bogs might conjure up an image of a dark,
smelly, mucky swamp but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Bogs are
bright open wetlands full of fascinating and colourful plants, most of which
make great garden plants. Not all bog gardens need to be large
installations near ponds or rivers and can be made out of a wide array of
containers that could fit into any landscape. We talk about the basics of
bog gardens and the diversity of plants that can be grown in them.

This presentation covers the basics of what a bog garden is and
how to make one, with examples of different styles and sizes. We cover a
wide range of plants, with a focus on carnivorous plants and species that
grow well with them. This is a great introduction on practically growing
carnivorous plants for those with no previous knowledge.
